About Steve barker

I am Steve Barker, a British author, born and raised in the charming town of Farnham, Hampshire, England. Growing up in such a picturesque location instilled in me a deep appreciation for nature and the beauty that surrounds us. 

After completing my studies, I found myself drawn to the military, and in 1979, I made the bold decision to enlist in the British Army. This marked the beginning of a fulfilling and adventurous career. I was stationed with the Royal Green Jackets in Winchester, where I honed my skills and learned valuable life lessons that would shape my future endeavours.
